Plyometric training provides the competitive edge

agility. Plyometrics surfaced among Olympic
athletes in the mid 1980's and has since steadily
gained popularity because of its proven
effectiveness. It has proven to be so beneficial
that it is now one of the most used training
techniques for athletes all over the world.

What are Plyometrics?
Plyometric drills and exercises provide the link between strength and speed of movement. They
utilize the body's natural stretch reflex to make muscle contractions more powerful. If the muscle
used to complete a task is preloaded or stretched before a contraction is performed, it will increase
the overall power output of the contraction. Improvement in the stretch reflex is achieved with
repetitive jumps and rapid movement drills. This is the essence of plyometric training. Elevate  uses
various different jump training drills, agility ladders, five dot speed drills, plyometric platforms and
more to maximize jumping ability, speed, and agility.

use Elevate Plyometrics but do not live near an Elevate training facility. Whichever option you
